6. What Happens To Ronan & Korath Before Guardians Of The Galaxy?

Two Guardians of the Galaxy alums are set to appear in Captain Marvel - Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) - and the interesting wrinkle is that both will be featured in decidedly more ambiguous terms.

Ronan will appear as a high-ranking Kree official who crosses paths with Starforce, seemingly long before he became a deranged zealot, while Korath will be the second-in-command of Starforce, far away from his bounty hunter ways in Guardians of the Galaxy.

But how will the film establish their later descent into more discernible villainy? For starters, it's incredibly unlikely that either of the characters will be depicted in squeaky-clean fashion here.

Ronan in particular will surely be represented as a ruthless pragmatist, while it's possible that Starforce is revealed to be a far more nefarious organisation than Carol is initially aware of.

Fans shouldn't expect to see a direct causal line between this movie and Guardians of the Galaxy, but it'll likely show how Carol's superheroic emergence contributed to Ronan and Korath changing up their paths.
