6. Ben Mendelsohn Is Playing The Skrull Leader Talos

It's been assumed for a while that Ben Mendelsohn would be playing a major villainous role in the movie, because that's kinda his thing right now, but this feature finally confirms that he will be playing Talos, the leader of the Skrulls.

The shape-shifting antagonist is instrumental in instigating the Kree-Skrull war and a Skrull invasion of Earth, and as long as Mendelsohn isn't beleaguered by performance-encroaching make-up, it's easy to imagine him doing the iconic race of alien baddies incredible justice.

Mendelsohn appeared in Boden and Fleck's previous movie, Mississippi Grind, so he's clearly got a solid working rapport with the filmmaking pair.
