Casting Ava DuVernay's New Gods
4. Infinity-Man - Chiwetel Ejiofor
Infinity-Man is one of the lesser known New Gods, but, being Darkseid's brother, the character will probably pop up in DuVernay's film at one point or another.
If that is the case, then Chiwetel Ejiofor should be the one to play the character.
Infinity-Man's usual role is that of protector, him working for Highfather to help those who need it, many of his more recent comic book appearances seeing him enter with the line "I am the Infinity-Man. Let me help you.". Such a phrase clearly demands a good voice, the dulcet tones of Ejiofor being ones that would fit brilliantly.
Plus, with the more menacing roles that the actor has/will be in, whether that be Mordo in Doctor Strange or Scar in the upcoming Lion King reboot, the actor would also easily be able to convey the more threatening version of the character (who killed all of the New Gods in the Countdown to Final Crisis).
Either way, Ejiofor would be excellent in the role.
