Casting Marvel's 10 Next Superhero Movies

8. Ant-Man €“ Adrien Brody

Brody Ant-Man Adrien Brody appears to be in something of a slump, especially considering the fact he€™s an Oscar-winner. Yes, you might say he€™s constantly getting work €“ he did well in Midnight In Paris as Slavador Dali and has picked up a role in American Hustle €“ but the very fact he€™s starred in a app-based comedy called€ sigh€ InAPPropriate Comedy€ would surely tell you the state of play. After all, Oscar-winners aren€™t supposed to star in movies that proudly hold 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. So if you look at it, now might be the perfect time for him to jump in the Marvel saddle. As Robert Downey Jr. can attest to, donning the spandex €“ or in his case, a giant metal suit €“ can do wonders for a career, and Brody seems perfectly placed to play Hank Pym. As we all know, Hank Pym is a smart guy, but he€™s also physically imposing. Now, if you€™d have asked me before Predators whether Brody would be right for this role, I€™d have instinctively laughed you off. But then, bloody hell, did you see what he looked like in Predators? This one-time wiry man was built like a tank, showcasing that he can pack on the superhero muscle with the best of them. Combine this physique with his seemingly intellectual look, and you might just have a ready-made Marvel scientist on your hands.
