Casting Star Trek: The Next Generation Reboot

Whilst recently appearing in films like Guardians of the Galaxy and King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, Djimon Hounsou always seems relegated to the background. Which is a shame, since he's an award winning actor who's been nominated multiple times by both the Academy and the Screen Actors' Guild. But hey, the pay's probably good.

That being said, it's time for Hounsou to take on a leading role... albeit one in an ensemble cast. And coming in at a whopping six foot two, he's definitely physically capable of playing the towering Klingon Lieutenant Worf.

This, coupled with the makeup he'd undoubtedly wear, would mean he'd able to effectively disappear into the character. Whether Hounsou would enjoy being strapped into a makeup chair for four hours every day however, is another matter.

If that's a dealbreaker, chances are the OG Michael Dorn's still hanging around somewhere.
