Speaking of sequels, Christopher Nolans 2010 hit Inception ended with questions left unanswered and plotlines unresolved, as well. And as it also made Warner Bros a tidy sum (over $820 million worldwide from a $160 million budget) talk circulated for a while that the studio were desperate for a sequel, and judging by the amount of articles, comments and theories that Inception inspired, audiences would surely flock to see it. Indeed, a sequel to Inception (Reception, perhaps?) could go in several directions. Maybe Cobb is still in a dream, and has to fight his way out. Maybe he isnt, and gets drawn back into his old line of work. Perhaps a whole new cast could inhabit a different dreamscape, even. Theres certainly no shortage of possibilities. But would Nolan ever do it? Hes never publicly made a comment on the idea of a sequel, so it's impossible to know. Theres every chance that his 2017 Warner Bros movie could be an Inception sequel, but, again, hed need to get working pretty quickly to pull it off in time. That is, of course, if hed want to try and follow a film that successful.
