Shortly after the project was announced and dated, Collider's Jeff Sneider tweeted that Nolan would be behind the camera "very, very soon".

Well, very, very soon, has transpired to be... four months, with filming now reported to be underway. That gives Nolan just over a year to get everything completed, and is an almost identical timeframe to his previous movie, Dunkirk.

It also sounds like Nolan is going global with his latest feature. As per Variety's report, it will be filmed on location across seven countries. While not all of those have been confirmed, one is, as you'd expect, the UK, while it's also being reported that some scenes will be shot in India too.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
