Its unfortunate that throughout his career, Colin Farrell has had the urge to go after atypical brooding bad-boy roles. In fact you could say that hes half typecast as such. Luckily hes had enough vision to test his range throughout his career, for if we were looking at a career filled with Fright Nights this article may never have even been considered. Famed for oozing on-screen charisma, Farrell oozes here alright, its just not a particularly pleasant kind of ooze. His over-the-top sardonic demeanour is pushed about ten steps too far landing him so far in hammy territory you could make a sandwich out of him.
