Colin Salmon joins The Punisher: War Zone

Former Bond MI6 agent turns Detective for the Lexi Alexander sequel but still no word on who will be Jigsaw.

Pierce Brosnan might not return as 007, a strange name kept popping up in relation to his replacement. That name being Colin Salmon, a black British actor with charming good looks and a voice that instantly demands attention and the guy who had played Charles Robinson, a high ranking MI6 agent in the Brosnan/Dench Bond movies. He was been tipped by many to be not only the first Black actor to play James Bond but also the first guy to win the role after actually being a former cast member and what was funny, was that some people were speculating that the decision to promote him as Bond would actually prove that Bond is only an identity... and that everytime on dies or retires... they actually just hire a new man who takes on the mantle. Like how it works in Doctor Who. This would explain how Bond has never aged a day but has managed to survive since the 60's fighting the world's bad guys. But it never happened and the actor has barely been seen on the big screen since and has been stuck in the small screen bubble, a place where he is far too talented to be stuck in. Things are looking up for him though. IMDB suggest he has 8 movies on the horizon and now according to The Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander and her official website, we can chalk up one more. The actor will play Agent Paul Budiansky in the soon to be filming sequel. She also reveals that Dash Mihok will be Detective Martin Soap and Doug Hutchinson will be Loony Bin Jim, also giving us this comment about her choice for Jigsaw... "As I look at their headshots on the wall in my office, my heart does little summersaults. And... I have the perfect, most talented Jigsaw!!!!!!! Stay tuned. (Don't you hate that)." Are we expecting another Brit for Jigsaw then but seriously, who better than Paddy Considine? source - coming soon
