Comic-Con 2015: 10 Movie Announcements That Would Make It The Best Ever

7. The Future Of The Transformers Franchise

Moviegoers either love or hate the Transformers movies, and after four efforts from Michael Bay, it's hard to imagine anyone changing their stance towards the franchise. However, with a writers room consisting of names like Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) and Steven S. DeKnight (Daredevil) put together to launch possibly as many as twelve new Transformers movies, even the biggest sceptic has to be excited about what's to come. Comic-Con is the perfect place to announce at least some of these new movies, and with rumours pointing to a prequel based on Cybertron and an animated movie (not to mention Michael Bay reuniting with Mark Wahlberg for a fifth Transformers instalment), fans of this toy series have a lot to look forward to. These announcements probably won't be the highlight of Comic-Con, but if they help to restore faith in the franchise, they'll be a bonus. The writers room has only recently been assembled, so a full slate of movies might be too much to ask for, but at least an idea of where they're heading is definitely a big must.
