6. Some Surprising Phase 3 Additions

The fact that Marvel shifted the release dates of their Phase 3 movies to accommodate Spider-Man proves that nothing is set in stone, so one or two new movies being added to their slate could help them steal the show while still essentially sitting the event out. The most likely candidate is Ant-Man. Providing Marvel are confident in the movie, they'll do what they did with Guardians Of The Galaxy last year by announcing the sequel before the first even reaches cinemas. However, Iron Man 4, Thunderbolts, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Namor, or any other long rumoured property being thrown into the mix would amaze. Alternatively, while it wouldn't be a movie announcement, Marvel could at least expand their small screen plans with some interesting announcements at the event (those do take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after all). The Punisher was recently added to the cast of Daredevil, but what about similarly shelved characters like Blade and Ghost Rider? Then there's that rumoured Ms. Marvel series on ABC, not to mention potential Iron Fist casting. Thinking about it, Marvel TV might just overshadow the movie division this year!
