D23: 10 MCU Announcements That Will Break The Internet

Team-ups are part and parcel of the Marvel Cinematic Universe these days. Back when the Avengers came together in 2012 it was groundbreaking, and Infinity War brought more characters together than thought physically possible, but there are more and more teams joining the MCU as it moves forward.

Joining the likes of the Avengers, Guardians, Eternals, Marvels, Fantastic Four, and eventually the X-Men, at the conclusion of Phase Five will be the Thunderbolts, a group of villains and anti-heroes seemingly being put together currently by Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.

When Kevin Feige announced the movie at Comic-Con, he suggested that there would be some surprises when it came to the roster of the team, and that there would be plenty of time for that later. Well, D23 is later, right?

There are a lot of characters who make perfect sense for a movie like this. The likes of Yelena and John Walker seem like a lock, but what about the others? Returning characters like Ghost, the Abomination, Melina, Taskmaster, or Zemo? How about new MCU faces in the realms of Songbird, Bullseye, Juggernaut, or even Hyperion? There could be some big names and even bigger surprises, and Kevin Feige could tell all.
