Dawn Of The Justice League: Everything You Need To Know

4. Jason Momoa Talks Aquaman

The next three segments in the special were talking head puff-pieces on additional characters from the JLA - starting with Jason Momoa as Aquaman. It's a shame that, considering they actually got Jason Momoa to sit down and take the time to talk to the camera, why they only took one small snippet of what he said. Although I suppose that considering his film isn't out until 2018, they probably don't want to give too much away - nor does he necessarily have a lot to talk about at this stage. Regardless, here's what Momoa did have to say about Aquaman;
"He's the only one that's both. He's a human, and a god. I wanna see him struggle with the fact that he has these powers and doesn't know how to handle them yet, he hasn't been trained."
He's referring to the fact that in the source material, Arthur Curry is the son of a lighthouse keeper and the queen of Atlantis who discovers his powers and embraces his destiny as ruler of the seven seas, which Geoff Johns also confirms as the origin story in the film. We also got some gnarly concept art of Aquaman taking out a giant robot, possibly teasing an event in his standalone film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjShWmDOLHw&feature=youtu.be
