Dawn Of The Justice League: Everything You Need To Know

5. The First Look At Wonder Woman

Next up was another heavily-anticipated segment as the world was given its first look at Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot and currently filming in England. We got some interesting plot asides from Geoff Johns, who explains that the Amazons of Themyscira used to be guardians of mankind. However they had given up their position, deeming mankind just not worth it. And hey, who's to blame 'em. Diana evidently feels differently, and comes to the world of men to assist them during the darkest days of World War I. Gadot mentions that we'll see her "coming-of-age, her entire history, what her mission". Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins also wax lyrical about Wonder Woman's importance as a feminist icon and the character's inherent good nature combined with her badass fighting skills. Speaking of which, there's a couple of very brief but very showy snippets that show off a unique fight choreography from her film. Also featured; Wonder Woman rides a horse and kills a guy with a sword. All in all, this Wonder Woman footage is pretty badass and if you weren't sold on the World War I setting before, you should be now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9Ur4De7yT8&feature=youtu.be

Wonder Woman is released on June 23 2017.
