Dawn Of The Justice League: Everything You Need To Know

2. Ezra Miller Tries To Sell You On Himself Playing Barry Allen

For the segment on The Flash movie due out in 2018 (but also due to first make an appearance in the first Justice League movie), right out of the gate, Miller doesn't seem as good a fit for Barry Allen as Grant Gustin is on the CW's show. It's almost a shame that The CW's version exists. It still doesn't really make sense why Warner Bros. would have two different versions, as it has the potential to confuse a lot of cinema-goers. In fact, when Johns and Miller explained the Flash's backstory and his powers, it felt like a waste of time. Y'know, considering we know all this from the TV show - which Johns and Smith actually brought up themselves at the beginning of the segment! Either a smart move (brand recognition!) or a dumb one (why should we care about the big screen version when there's a perfectly good TV show starring the character already out there?). Miller's got a long way to climb before he gains everybody's respect, but who knows? He may just make a great Barry Allen after all. https://youtu.be/NxiSV0d_6Vw The Flash is released on 23 March 2018.
