1. Green Lantern And His Corps Will Join The Justice League!
Just before Johns and Smith signed off, Smith "greedily" asked for one last exclusive tidbit, to which Johns happily obliged (in what was obviously a horribly staged little skit). The news that Johns decided to break was that Green Lantern will, indeed, feature in the Justice League movie, along with the Green Lantern Corps. As for how many of them will be featured in Justice League Part One, it's unclear. Expect there to be more than one Lantern, however - most likely it'll be the long-rumoured Hal Jordan/John Stewart team-up, with a few supporting Lanterns fir giid neasyre. In the concept art shown on-screen during this segment we did catch a glimpse of all the major earth lanterns (bar Alan Scott, whose Lantern skills are mystical in nature) in original art from the comics, including the latest recruit Simon Baz. Could Baz be the one to turn up in the Justice League movie alongside Hal Jordan? Time will tell. I'm glad that Green Lantern is going to be a comeback, as the character deserves a shot at redemption with a creative team that knows the right way to handle the character. Warner Bros. at least have a better handle these days on how to treat their characters with respect and not simply as cash cows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8nuAkm90Ag A Green Lantern movie reboot is rumoured to be released on 19 June 2020. In the meantime, you can catch all these characters and more in Justice League: Part One, being released on 17 November 2017.
