10. Harley Quinn Could Be Getting Another Movie
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) failed to reach the box office heights many expected when it arrived in cinemas this past February, but critics enjoyed it, as did many fans. There was nothing inherently wrong with the movie, of course, but not even rebranding it as Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey seemed to increase interest from filmgoers.
Harley will next be seen in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, but a report from DCEU Mythic claims that there are longterm plans for Margot Robbie's anti-hero beyond that. Unfortunately, no specific details are revealed, but it could be a solo movie or another Birds of Prey-style ensemble.
It's feasible that it will be the Gotham City Sirens spinoff that Suicide Squad director David Ayer was once developing, but it probably won't be him at the helm for whatever form it takes next. Regardless, getting to see Harley Quinn alongside Catwoman and Poison Ivy (at last) isn't going to be something any comic book fans complain about, though The Batman's Zoe Kravitz likely won't be involved.
