DC Extended Universe: 10 Major New Rumours You Need To Know

2. Michael Keaton's Batsuit Might Be "Kingdom Come" Inspired

Mark Waid and Alex Ross' Kingdom Come is a comic book series every DC Comics fan should check out, and it sounds like it could inspire what we see from Michael Keaton's Batman in the DCEU. In the story, and older Batman forms a young team of heroes to protect a world which has been reshaped by the emergence of superheroes and now falls under the purview of powerful and reckless vigilantes.

It's unclear how much of that will find its way into The Flash, but DCEU Mythic has shared information from a "reliable source" which indicates that the Batsuit Keaton will wear in the film is heavily inspired by the one in Kingdom Come. Whether that means he'll be decked out in an exoskeleton like the one Kevin Conroy donned in The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths is unknown, though.

Despite that, the Batsuit will have clearly changed since 1991, and if this report is to be believed, Bruce Wayne will compensate for his age by wearing armour. Hopefully, it still pays homage to the past.
