DC: Ranking Every Upcoming Movie & TV Show By Anticipation

5. The Flash Season 3

DC Movies TV Justice League Flash Arrow
The CW

While Miller looks impressive in the role, there is always the question of whether we need a Flash movie; or at least, whether we need a Flash movie with a different actor playing Barry Allen, since Grant Gustin is doing such a great job on the small screen.

The Flash has quickly established itself as one of the best superhero shows around, and in its two seasons has displaced Arrow as the crown jewel of Greg Berlanti's CW/DC universe.

Season 2 wasn't quite as good as Season 1, but it's still fast, fun, incredibly comic book-y, and yet able to pack a hell of an emotional punch as well. Season 3 is all set for an adaptation of the huge Flashpoint event (albeit on a much smaller scale), which should really shake things up and provide a wealth of material.

Gustin nails everything asked of him, and has a great supporting cast (not least Tom Cavanagh), while Tom Felton is a fantastic piece of casting ahead of Season 3. The show is smart, confident, and really about to hit its stride.

Air Date: October 4, 2016.
