1. The Batman Will Be BIG

The Rumour

Apparently, Matt Reeves wants to go larger scale than the Batman movie Ben Affleck had planned with Deathstroke, and he wants to include the Bat family as well as most of Batman's rogues.

Previously, we've seen rumours that The Batman was going to include "almost every major Batman villain going", and it was only when the Deathstroke footage was revealed that there seemed to be a contradiction.

Given the opportunity to really celebrate Batman in his 80th year, and to tie into the other Bat-family films (Nightwing and Batgirl), it would be great if Warner Bros and Reeves could work on a retelling of Under The Hood that could include the revelation of Jason Todd's survival to tie up that loose end in the DCEU.

It wouldn't be a difficult thing to do: just establish Red Hood as the anti-Batman, more brutal and even more willing to kill villains (though the DCEU version is a wholly different animal to the comics), who will break the law to stop others from breaking it. That could mean a large-scale war waged on Batman's rogues gallery, while Batman looks on, implicated in some of their deaths and intent on uncovering who his mysterious rival is.

That would be the perfect way to sell a Batman solo movie that brought in the Bat Family and Jason Todd, and hopefully Reeves is thinking on similar grounds.
