Chances Of It Happening: 10/10

Though there are a handful of movies featuring the Joker and Harley Quinn currently in development (more on those later), Suicide Squad 2 is the only one that's an absolute lock in terms of it actually landing on the big-screen.

The original was critically ravaged upon release, but money talks, and Suicide Squad made a hell of a lot of it ($746 million, to be more precise). This alone would be enough to justify a sequel, but when you've got major stars like Will Smith and Margot Robbie involved, it just becomes a no-brainer.

Gavin O'Connor (The Accountant) was announced as director last year, and with several actors already starting to train (including Jay Hernandez - which is strange, since his character, Diablo, died in the first movie), Suicide Squad 2 is on course to start shooting later this year, once Smith becomes available.
