Deadpool: 100 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And References

12-6. The End-Credits Cartoons

Giving a little extra bang for your buck, the end credits feature a bunch of cute little animations of Deadpool that playfully rip fun at the credits themselves:

Deadpool playing a sax, mimicking the music being played. A Deadpool-Spidey mash-up web-slinging into view. Deadpool trying to go at a urinal where one of the hearts from his vision earlier watches. Deadpool dancing along to the music, then getting out a lighter to wave along. During the cast listing, Deadpool getting increasingly aroused over the hottness of (in ascending order) Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin and Ed Skrein. And, finally, Deadpool riding a unicorn, which grinds its horn against Gina Carano's name before shooting out rainbows (read of that what you will), then farting money and riding off. As an added bonus, the art design of these bits appears to be invoking Skottie Young, a famed Marvel artist known for his Young-style drawings.

5. Curtain Call

The fourth wall was pretty much demolished during the course of the movie, but the credits didn't think twice about getting a few jabs in. At the end of the Skottie Young animations, a stage curtain pulls back, reaffirming the theatrics of it all.

4. Thanks (With Tongue) To The Creators

The Deadpool movie only exists thanks to the passion of so many people, but it would be all for nothing without the hard work of creators Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. And so, at the very end of the credits, there's a part where they get "A Special Thanks (With Tongue)".
