Deadpool: 100 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And References

3-2. The Post Credits Scene

Deadpool's post-credits scene is a thing of beauty. Ostensibly it's a pastiche of the stinger from fellow fourth-wall breaker Ferris Beuller's Day Off (one of the earlier examples of the trope), but he also finds time to poke fun at the whole convention of superhero's shoving clues for later movies after most people have left the cinema; he first references the (now confirmed) sequel to this movie, then mocks Iron Man having Sam Jackson pop up at the end. Lovely.

1. The Second Post-Credits Scene

But wait, there's more. The preview version of the movie didn't have this, but after a fade to black we cut back to Deadpool in Ferris' hallway as he dishes some dirt on that sequel - it's going to introduce Cable! Pointing out his bionic arm and time travel origins, he says that while the character isn't cast yet, he does have some potential picks to play the "big guy with a flat top"; Mel Gibson, Dolph Lungren, Keira Knightley.

Were there any Easter eggs we missed? Probably, given that we only got the first hundred. Shout out any you spotted down in the comments.
