Deadpool 2: 10 Directors Who Could Replace Tim Miller
4. RZA
He's proved to be one heck of a rapper as the founding member of Wu Tang and has become an elite producer in his own right, but that wasn't enough for Robert F Diggs - he wanted to create his own movie, drawn from his love of all things high kicking and killing.
Taking an idea he'd previously ran by director Eli Roth, RZA took his time to gather funding for what turned out to be an impressive debut, The Man With The Iron Fists. This love letter to all things kung-fu was a blood-soaked diamond, showing RZA to be a talented director and, better still, able to make messy chopsocky action look kind of beautiful.
Despite this being his sole effort, RZA has a desire to bring more mayhem to the big screen and there really is no better way to do this than directing Deadpool in his latest (mis)adventure.
