5. Will Peter Survive?

The easy highlight of the movie's final trailer was the appearance of Peter, a regular Joe who joins the X-Force simply because he saw the ad, despite having no superhuman abilities whatsoever. Deadpool, clearly favouring inclusiveness, lets him join. The question remains, then: will the fast fan favourite character survive the events of the movie or not?

Prediction: This could go one of two ways. It's already been speculated that Peter's parachute may fail to open and he'll have a messy, fatal collision with the ground right off the bat.

The other leading theory is that Peter's implausible survival could be a running gag throughout the film, leading to him inexplicably saving Deadpool in a dire third-act moment of need.

Peter dying a sudden, gross death is definitely the more likely of the two, as much as fans clearly want the guy to live. Oh well, there's always time travel to bring him back, right?
