8. It's Really Bloody Different

Even off the back of Infinity War and its reinvention of the MCU, Deadpool 2 is a wildly different comic book movie that glories in its difference (even if it pulls a few punches).

It takes lots of expectations and turns them upside down, with Deadpool still talking to the audience, established tropes being ripepd to shreds and some of the most self-aware materisal ever seen in a comic book movie. Even in the wake of the first Deadpool's impact on other Marvel movies, this sequel proves that Ryan Reynolds still does it best.

They're definitely going to struggle to keep pushing the envelope in the inevitable third movie.
