3. The Costume Gags

The whole gag of not being able to change super-quick is a two-pronged Easter Egg: first, it's a nod to the unspoken problem of superhero costumes being cumbersome or impractical - which was always a major thing in the background of early Batman movies (to the extent that the lack of mobility in the batsuit informed Michael Keaton's performance as Batman).

And then as the short ends, Deadpool continues talking to the dead guy, riffing on the X-Men franchise's wilful ignorance of Wolverine's sillier yellow spandex costume from the comics. He says in voice-over:

“You probably wouldn’t be dead if it was Logan. What’s he got to change into? Guy wears a f*cking tank top and a pair of jeans”.

Further justification for the neglect of the iconic look - which also comes up in Logan itself.
