As much as Scar was an awful character for trying to eradicate the entire royal bloodline of Pride Rock, he was a really great villain to watch and his death meant that there was no more drama plaguing Simba and his family. Scar was a natural born leader, intelligent and a very eloquent public speaker (his singing was also on point too), but he was overshadowed by Mufasa's brute strength and goodness, as well as the fact that Scar was the younger sibling. What made Scar's death so devastating that even his loyal hyenas turned on him and he was finally defeated by those closest to him; karma really is a b*tch.
