A big box-office success back in the early 90s, Father of the Bride worked so well because of the comedic talents of its cast, led by the great Steve Martin and Diane Keaton.

The movie itself was a remake of a 1950s movie, so it's another one that's easy to update, but finding a cast who can work as well as this one isn't going to be an easy task.
