Disney will have their eyes on a new franchise with The Paper Magician, the first adaptation of Charlie N. Holmberg's magical trilogy. The story finds a young conjurer attending a school of magic, where she's disappointed to be stuck learning paper magic.

However, soon she discovers the weird and wonderful things you can do with it, while a new evil emerges and threatens her mentor's life, meaning she has to tap into her hidden potential. Allison Shearmur (Cinderella, Rogue One) is set to produce, although few other details are known currently.
