Doctor Strange 2: 8 Ways It Could Change The MCU Forever

4. By Making Wanda A Villain - And Keeping Her That Way

One of the big rumours surrounding Doctor Strange 2 is that Wanda will be the main villain. And heck, just look at this image of her from the trailer. It's not quite "proof" that she won't be friendly, but it feels pretty damn close.

Considering her dark frame of mind throughout WandaVision - as well as the show's final post-credits scene - it's not a stretch to believe that she could head down an evil path, or, at the very least, that her interests won't align with Strange's.

And with Agatha's aforementioned claim that the Scarlet Witch is more powerful than the Sorcerer Supreme, Strange and Wong are going to have their hands full if Wanda does decide to go rogue. Maybe even too full for one movie.

Let's not forget that Wanda was about to kill Thanos if he hadn't rained fire on his own forces. Kevin Feige has even acknowledged that she's the most powerful Avenger (sorry Thor), so if Strange does have to fight her, it's highly likely that he won't be able to finish the job by the time his sequel ends.

In other words, Wanda is definitely powerful enough to serve as the main villain of not just Doctor Strange 2, but Phase Four as a whole.

How do you top Thanos? Simple - you get someone stronger.
