Doctor Strange: 9 Big Implications For Phase 3 And Beyond

Chiwetal Ejiofor is an actor of immense talent, and it's hard not to feel he was slightly wasted here. He had one of the most potentially interesting arcs of the film, moving from a true devotee of the Ancient One to someone more cynical, but it's never fully realised.

Thankfully the post-credits scene goes some way to correcting that, fully setting up Karl Mordo as an anti-sorcerer antagonist for the next Strange outing. It's a wise move; Ejiofor has the charisma to become a compelling villain, with a real score to settle. Doctor Strange 2 may not yet be official, but it already has its villain.
