Doctor Strange Film: 6 (Attainable) Directors Marvel Should Consider

Responsible For: K-Pax, Hackers, Inkheart, The Skeleton Key Why He'd Be Great: While there aren't any masterpieces to his name, Softley has all the elements to his work that would make a Dr. Strange film great. His personalized style never distracts from the narrative of his films, meaning that we would see a real, emotional Stephen Strange in the midst of the magical realm he so chooses to use. And yet, while there maybe some mystery to the magic, it's also seen as very second-nature and understood. Take K-PAX, for example. The audience watches the film under the impression that Kevin Spacey's character Prot is one of two things: an alien, or crazy. However, the movie definitely walks behind the "alien" line and allows the audience, even in the face of uncertainty, to say "Of course he's from another planet." We're still greatly intrigued by the story that has yet to be concluded, but the mystery, itself, is now second nature. That kind of element is perfect for a Dr. Strange film. And any director who can handle the likes of both Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey on screen at the same time gets a thumbs up from me.
