Doctor Strange Movie: Everything You Need to Know

1. The Ties To The MCU

It€™s no lie that the formation of the MCU in all its glorious continuity has been one of the most impressive feats in cinematic history. Because Marvel will continue to take my money, dammit, it€™s no surprise that Doctor Strange will tie into the wider MCU. Strange€™s name was already mentioned in passing in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in a scene where HYDRA agent Jasper Sitwelll professed that €˜Bruce Banner, Stephen Strange€ anyone who is a threat to HYDRA!€™ were on a hit-list. There are already hints that the Quantum Realm, a place beyond space and time which is visited by Scott Lang in Ant Man, will have a major impact on Doctor Strange and the MCU as a whole. Strange, no stranger to new dimensions, will likely visit the Quantum Realm in his own film, as Fiege has stated that the Realm, along with other places that are €˜mind-bendingly hard to fathom€™ will factor into Phase 3. Don€™t be surprised to see Strange assisting the rest of the MCU in the fight against the mega-chinned Thanos in Infinity War. Being able to use powers such as time travel, dimensional manipulation and undeniable attractiveness will go a long way in helping take on the mad titan. So there you have it, folks! Just like a bad acid trip on a good day or a good acid trip on a bad day, Doctor Strange promises to be an unforgettable psychedelic experience that is befitting of Cumberbatch€™s almighty cheekbones, which would definitely not be allowed on an plane. Doctor Strange will drop November 4, 2016.
