Scott Pilgrim - Sex Bob-omb Clash At Demonhead Scott Pilgrim's band name, Sex Bob-omb, is a reference to an enemy from Super Mario Brothers 2, a walking bomb with a fuse. It can often be seem on the band€™s kickback drum. The band's logo, which sits on the front of Kim's drum-kit is also very obviously inspired by the Serious Sam logo. Sex Bob-omb Scott€™s ex-girlfriend Envy Adams - who is referred to by Wallace as "she who will not be named" in a reference to Harry Potter - is the lead singer in a band called Clash at Demonhead, the name of which is also a videogame reference like Scott€™s band. In this case, it refers to an obscure 1990 NES platformer where the player takes control of a futuristic space sargeant who has to prevent the activation of a doomsday bomb.
