El Camino: Every Breaking Bad Character That Appears
2. Jane Margolis
Though Jane didn't survive for long after meeting Jesse, in such a short time she still managed to have an incredible impact on him. While things generally went downhill after starting to cook with Walt, Jesse did manage meet the love of his life.
The two began their relationship simply as neighbours, but this soon bloomed into something more romantic. Though they enjoyed injecting hard drugs together, there was a deeper connection between them. Jane wanted to bring Jesse into her world of art and Georgia O'Keeffe, and Jesse wanted to follow her. After she choked to death, he was hit hard, and never really recovered.
Once Jesse arrived at his new life in Alaska, he thought back to his brief time with Jane. For the first time in a long time he was content, and this took him back to Jane. Being with her was his happy place, and possibly the best time of his entire life.
Thinking back to a conversation they once had, he remembered her telling him to stop going where the universe told him, and to start make his own decisions. His move to Alaska finally showed that he had taken this advice, and was now in control of his own future.
