El Camino: Every Breaking Bad Character That Appears

1. Walter White

Could there really be a Breaking Bad movie without Walter White himself? Ever since the ending of the show there had been theories about whether Heisenberg was actually dead when the final credits rolled, and when El Camino was announced, some fans of the show were convinced the drug lord would make an appearance.

Though Walter's death was confirmed on the radio relatively early in the movie, he still made an appearance in the same way most of the characters on this list did - a flashback.

The scene showed the famous duo staying at a hotel after cooking a batch, trying to figure out the quickest way to sell the whole lot. Walt took a time out from the drug talk to try and convince Jesse to go to college when their little project was over, but didn't make much of an impact.

Unlike most of the other flashbacks, this scene didn't particularly impact El Camino's story, or Jesse's journey through it. There was no exposition that furthered the narrative or conversation that impacted Jesse's actions. It seems that Heisenberg's inclusion was more for fan service than any story telling reason.
