2. Betsy Brandt - Spider-Man 3
Banks said she owed a debt to Sam Raimi for casting her in the original Spider-Man, so she came back for the third instalment despite her character having nothing of interest to do. In a movie where the characters are already fighting for screentime, Betty Brant really gets the short end of the stick. While she was never a major character in the series, she always made an impression when she appeared. In Spider-Man 3 shes little more than an attractive prop, whose biggest scene is when shes flirting the hot emo Peter Parker. These scenes are aiming for awkward comedy, but they just come off as cringe worthy. Banks really looks like shed rather be somewhere else too, and she cant be blamed. Shes badly served by the film, but if nothing else it marked one of the last times shed be playing small supporting roles. Shed soon transition to leading lady status, which is where shed done some of her best work. Although they didn't all work out for the best...
