5. Amy Movie 43
The producers of Movie 43 must have some damning photos of the big name cast that appeared in it; thats the only way to explain how so many signed up for such a poor comedy. The film is basically a sketch show, where different name actors come in to perform laugh free skits before going home and presumably firing their agents. Banks sketch reunites her with James Gunn, for the story of a womans battle with her boyfriends evil cat. Various indignities are inflicted on her such as getting peed on, shot and run over with a jeep; with her suffering roughly mirroring that of the people watching the film. Its a relentless unfunny short, that tries really hard to be shocking but like the rest of Movie 43 its just a chore. Even Banks cant save it, with her exaggerated performance having a small hint of Jesus, why did I sign up for this?. Shes probably still asking herself that question.
