Eternals: 9 HUGE Questions For MCU's Future

5. What Are Eros' Powers?

In the source material, Eros has a complex family tree as the son of A’Lars, an Earth Eternal, and Sui-San, an Eternal Titan. However, it is currently uncertain what exactly his story will be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as no such differentiations between Eternals have yet been established.

He called himself an Eternal, but also the brother of Thanos, and given what the first movie taught us of the alien race, it’s hard to see how he can be both.

There is also the question of his powers. The Eternals of the source material are slightly different than in the MCU, in that while they still all have their own unique traits, they also all share the typical superhero abilities of strength and stamina etc., with Eros even having the power of flight. Where on this scale will Eros fall on the big screen?

It was Pip who teleported them onto the Domo, but while he has demonstrated his powers, Eros held back. He immediately proved his laid back, charming attitude, but what of his powers? In the comics he has the ability to control and stimulate the pleasure receptors of those around him, but will Disney go down this same route?
