Eternals: 9 HUGE Questions For MCU's Future

2. Is The Door Now Open For Galactus In The MCU?

The MCU is home to a plethora of amazing, obscure, and often down right bizarre characters. Thanks to the cosmic side of the franchise branching out and growing deeper and deeper, there are certain characters that once it seemed impossible to bring to life in a realistic way, but now not so much. One such being is Galactus.

The Devourer of Worlds is an unfathomably big humanoid alien, who lives in space and literally eats planets and worlds to survive. A ridiculous concept if you really think about it, and something that would have been difficult to seriously bring to the big screen in years past, however Eternals may have changed this.

Though Celestials have been around forever, and have been a part of the known MCU ever since the Guardians visited Knowhere, a community housed within the skull of a dead Celestial, Eternals was the first time a being like Arishem has been properly seen and developed, and though it was weird, it wasn’t too weird.

This could easily be Galactus’ opening into the MCU. As a Celestial like Arishem, a big part of his origin story has essentially already been told, it’s just a matter of when he decides to target Earth. He could even bring with him the franchise debut of the Silver Surfer. There’s no denying that the tiny bit of Tiamut fans got to see in the movie looked extremely similar to Galactus, could this have been a bit of cheeky foreshadowing for a monstrous villain soon to come?
