1. When Will The Eternals Turn Up Next?
Like the Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man before them, the return of the Eternals was confirmed at the end of each respective franchise’s very first movie. This came as a surprise to absolutely no one, but how and when exactly they will return is less certain.
Thanks to the conclusion of the movie and the post credit scenes, it seems almost guaranteed that there will be an Eternals 2 in the future, but when can fans expect to see such a chapter in the MCU? Marvel Studios currently has five open release dates with no specific movie attached to them, one in 2023, and four in 2024.
It would be easy to assume that the franchise will have its sequel hit cinemas on one of these dates, but there are so many other properties that could release instead. Blade, Deadpool 3, Fantastic Four, and Captain America 4 are all announced yet without a release date, not to mention the likes of X-Men, Shang-Chi 2, and Black Widow 2, movies that haven’t been officially announced yet but will almost certainly happen.
Regardless of when Eternals 2 comes, could the titular heroes be seen on MCU screens before then anyway? Given Pip’s ties to Adam Warlock, it is entirely possible that there will be something of a crossover or cameo in 2023's Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 first.
