Eternals: Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Kingo
Number one with a bullet is Kingo, by far the most entertaining Eternal courtesy of Kumail Nanjiani's scene-stealing performance.
Though he drops the most one-liners of any of the movie's heroes, he's far more than a quip factory, defined by his amusing and compelling backstory, positioning himself as his own descendants in a Bollywood acting dynasty.
Despite being the most outward comic relief character, though, Kingo also skirts expectations as the proverbial hits the fan.
When Ikaris creates a schism in the Eternals, Kingo actually sides with him, but because he doesn't want to fight his "family," he decides to sit the final battle out altogether.
Given that most all superhero movies would have Kingo return in the climax for a crucial save, it's refreshing and hugely unexpected that he sticks to his guns and decides to just chill out instead.
It may not make Kingo the noblest of heroes, but isn't that infinitely more intriguing than being a boring, squeaky-clean pillar of morality?
