Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga Review: 4 Ups & 6 Downs
2. It's Filled With Fun Cameos
Though quality cameos alone cannot save a movie, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga does at least bring a ton of talented actors and celebrities into the fold for some fun appearances.
First of all, we have a grizzled Pierce Brosnan as Lars' stern, exasperated father Erick, rocking a ridiculous Icelandic accent to boot.
Elsewhere, numerous Eurovision stars from past and present turn up for fleeting cameos, and regular UK commentator Graham Norton even shows his face in the third act to cheekily riff on the various contest entries.
While it's fair to say that more could've been done with most of these cameos, they nevertheless add sprinkles of flavour and personality to a movie that so often feels stuck in bland neutral.
