10. Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay

Suicide Squad Hell To Pay
Warner Bros.

Despite Suicide Squad's good name being dragged through the mud by David Ayers' abysmal live-action adaptation not so long ago, there's still a lot of love for the brand out there and this animated release from Warner Bros would have fed fans a lot more satisfyingly than Ayers' version did.

Instead of aiming for sexism, muddled identities and a terrible story, this well animated adaptation to the animated pantheon knows its characters far better and still manages to be funny in places without selling out to baser material. Even with the R-rating.

It's far from perfect, with some pointless subplotting, but it's mostly good and stands out as the finest of Warner Bros' digital animated releases.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
