Every 2021 MCU Post-Credit Scene Ranked Worst To Best

Though Black Widow was supposed to be Scarlett Johansson’s swansong in the MCU, her taking one last final bow before saying goodbye to Natasha Romanoff, the spotlight was completely stolen by her younger sister, Yelena.

Florence Pugh’s character was funny, intense, an all round badass, and has all the qualities that will allow her to be a big player in the MCU for years to come. Thankfully, the movie teased her return as the credits rolled with her next mission.

As she visited the grave of Natasha, she was approached by Val, previously seen recruiting John Walker in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. She came with what was seemingly a mission of revenge, though it would now appear that she was hired by Eleanor Bishop, to kill Clint Barton.

At the time, it’s fair to say the buzz around Hawkeye was significantly less than many of the other projects coming to Disney+, but Yelena’s inclusion helped the cause massively. Fans simply couldn’t wait to see the new Black Widow again, and they wouldn’t even have to wait until next year to see it.
