Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked Worst To Best
20. Hubie Halloween (2020)
After blowing everyone's collective minds with Uncut Gems, the Sandman decided to take a step back and make Hubie Halloween, a comedy-horror for Netflix that's every bit a glorious call back to his 90s fare as it is something altogether new.
Cast as a Halloween-loving safety monitor who falls face first into a major mystery plaguing Salem, Massachusetts, Sandler brings warmth and refreshing comedic timing to a film which, more than once, almost becomes too much for its own good.
Hubie Halloween is silly and packed, and whilst quintessentially Sandler -- loud, filled with cameos, odd accents and genre satire that ranges from dull to inspired -- it's also a rollicking good twister. Sandler is having a whale of a time, and in the process crafted one of his finest comedies in years.
