Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked Worst To Best
17. Murder Mystery (2019)
Pushing sixty, Sandler seems to have found a second wind with his later batch of comedies, the best of which has to be Murder Mystery, a deviously fun and charming spoof of Agatha Christie.
Alongside on-screen wife Jennifer Aniston, Sandler plays a New York cop embroiled in a murder after Aniston gets them invited to an exclusive party. The mystery is exciting as it is, but the film is elevated by its romance, which isn't an awkward will-they-won't-they but a perfectly sweet marriage on the rocks.
With great chemistry and deadpan humour, Murder Mystery is by no means a masterpiece, but it sure is a comfortably twisty good time.
