Every Avenger's Best Performance OUTSIDE The MCU

As the powerful Scarlet Witch, Elizabeth Olsen has had a lot to play with in her role in the MCU. With Wandavision on the way very soon, it'll be exciting for us to finally see her take the reins and lead her own story, but so far she's held her own alongside the other heroes.

I want to start this by saying that while Elizabeth Olsen doesn't catch our attention in Ingrid Goes West as much as Aubrey Plaza or Billy Magnusson, she fits her role so brilliantly, it was like she was made for it. As Taylor Sloane (already such an "Influencer" name) she carries the physical and verbal trademarks of a cliche, shallow Instagram influencer.

(No disrespect to Elizabeth Olsen, it was just perfect casting!)

We're never on Taylor's side throughout the film, but we do worry for her as Ingrid's character draws deeper into her life.

Olsen plays the role of a hollow and empty figure so cavalierly, I would ask if she has imitated real life influencers in her spare time. She's warm and fake-friendly when she needs to be, and as the tables turn in the story, Olsen lets out a spiteful side that is both upsetting and worrying to watch.
