Every Batman Movie Ending Ranked From Worst To Best

8. The Lego Batman Movie

Because The Lego Batman Movie is... a Lego movie... you'd expect it not to pack an emotional punch like it's live-action counterparts. And since this spin-off is geared for a younger demographic, it would've been easy to cheapen the big showdown with generic action and kiddy humour.

Even though the third act is rampant with silly jokes, it's epic from start-to-finish, since we get to see the whole Bat-Family facing King Kong, Voldemort, an army of Agent Smiths, and The Eye of Sauron!

It's also nice to see that it's not just Batman that saves the day but everyone in Gotham. As Joker's bombs detonate across the city, all the citizens chainlink together to prevent Gotham from cracking open.

At this point, the movie could've wrapped up conventionally and everyone would've been satisfied. However, the filmmakers added a surprisingly touching moment where the cowled crimefighter tells his arch-nemesis that they need each other since their eternal rivalry gives them purpose. With that, Batman gives Joker and the rest of his rogues' gallery a head start before capturing them, proving he's not just a superhero purely out of moral duty - he actually enjoys it.
